At the heart of LINKWIN’s award-winning project GM2D Empowers Supply Chain for Cost Reduction, Efficiency Improvement, and Dual Enhancement of Resilience and Transparency is the in-depth application of technical standards from the Global Migration to 2D Barcodes (GM2D) initiative. Rather than simply adopting QR codes, the project established an end-to-end digital supply chain solution with GM2D as its core identification carrier. It targets longstanding challenges in traditional supply chains — including fragmented information, difficult traceability, low efficiency, and slow responsiveness — and delivers two core values:

“We are deeply honored to receive the 2024–2025 ECR Excellent Project Award,” said a Vice President of LINKWIN. “This recognition reflects our team’s relentless efforts in GM2D application and supply chain digital innovation, as well as the real value created by the project. GM2D is more than an upgrade of barcodes — it is the foundation for building smart, resilient and transparent supply chains of the future. LINKWIN will continue to invest in R&D and deepen industry cooperation, aiming to replicate this successful model across more sectors and partner with more enterprises to achieve supply chain excellence and sustainable growth.”
