Challenges & Project Requirements in Digital Transformation

  Challenges in Digital Transformation

    Supported by comprehensive "software + hardware" upgrades, the enterprise needed to significantly improve three core capabilities: control systems, production manufacturing and inspection efficiency, so as to build core competitiveness for a manufacturing enterprise in the digital era.

  • Potential issues with product labeling: manual labeling in packaging may lead to wrong labels, blank labels, incomplete label content, mismatched manuals and products, missing sterilization labels, etc.

  • Accuracy of ERP-related information: inspection data of the entire production line must be connected with the ERP system to ensure products match order requirements.

 ➢ Project Requirements

     In view of the above, industrial vision technology was adopted to inspect the manual and all surfaces of products to ensure products comply with order requirements and quality standards.

Real-Time Synchronized Inspection Data

  • Products are automatically conveyed through a newly added inspection conveyor belt, and inspected by vision cameras at inspection points.

  • The IPC program compares product content (such as whether labels and manuals match products of the production batch).

Inspection items include:

  • Label and certificate information (product batch number, name, code);

  • Manual completeness (document number, version number, registration certificate number);

  • Accuracy of user manual content;

  • Accuracy of label and certificate placement;

  • Completeness and consistency of sterilization labels;

  • Correctness of inner packaging labels;

  • Barcode recognition and data integrity inspection;

  • Consistency check between on-line products and orders/batch numbers;

  • onsistency check of all labels and matching with order requirements.

Project Application Results

   Through industrial vision inspection, the following results have been achieved:

  • Accuracy and consistency of inspection content: ensuring product quality meets standards.

  • Real-time monitoring of the production process: timely detection and resolution of production issues to improve efficiency.

  • Reduced human impact on product inspection: enhanced stability and reliability of the production line.

  • Automated product packaging inspection and quality control: improved packaging efficiency and accuracy.

  • Accumulation of data assets: enabling optimization and improvement of production processes.

    The application of industrial vision technology has made the enterprise fully covered by automated inspection. LINKWIN has become its digital transformation partner and will continue to provide comprehensive digital transformation services to support its operational excellence and high-quality development.
